Attention, Fernie residents! Winter parking regulations are set to kick in on November 1st, helping to keep our streets clear and safe throughout the snowy season.
Starting then, an alternating parking schedule will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. for on-street parking. This schedule allows city plows to clear snow efficiently, moving it back to the boulevards on alternating days:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday: Park on the North or West side of the road.
Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday: Park on the South or East side of the road.
Please remember, any vehicle parked against this regulation or contrary to posted signage may be ticketed, towed, or even impounded.
