Introducing the Trailforks Fernie E-Rally

Free entry for the Trailforks Fernie E-Rally is now open at ferniebikefest.com, inviting e-bike riders to take part in Fernie’s first e-bike event as part of the Fernie Ride & Roast Bike Festival.

Calling all e-bikers: rally at the Montane Barn for a fun, inclusive, strategy-based ride that blends navigation, route finding, smart battery management, and local trail knowledge.

The Trailforks Fernie E-Rally is a non-competitive challenge for individuals or teams. Riders will be given a series of Trailforks checkpoints on the morning of the event and must create their own route to reach them all. Trailforks will be providing all participants a one year Free Pro account subscription.

Success depends on choosing the most efficient line, balancing distance, elevation, terrain, battery use, and personal riding ability.

There is no single “right” route. Strategy is the challenge.

As Fernie’s first e-bike event, the Trailforks Fernie E-Rally celebrates e-bikes as a tool for exploration, strategy, and inclusive participation. The event is designed to be accessible, social, and fun, fully aligned with the spirit of Fernie’s trail culture.

All riders who complete the E-Rally will be eligible for prizing, with awards presented during the official Fernie Singletrack 3 Awards Ceremony.

Trailforks Fernie E-Rally Schedule:

10:00 AM – Trailforks checkpoint map/link released
11:00 AM – E-Rally departure window opens
3:00 PM – Course closes / finish cutoff
5:00 PM – E-Rally awards at the FST3 Awards Ceremony

Entry is free, but riders are encouraged to register now to help organizers plan for the event.
