Island Lake Lodge summer opening is set for June 20, welcoming locals and visitors back for hiking, dining, wellness, accommodation, and alpine escape.
Surrounded by more than 7,000 acres of wilderness, Island Lake Lodge offers scenic hiking trails, panoramic viewpoints, lakes, creeks, old-growth forest, and a classic Fernie mountain experience.
Guests can enjoy elevated pub-style dining at the Bear Bistro from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., or fine dining at the Tamarack Dining Room from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on operating days. Accommodation, getaway packages, and the new Foraging Weekend Experience will also be available throughout the summer season.
Returning this year is the popular Take A Hike Trail of the Week promotion. Hikers who complete the featured trail can enjoy a special Fernie Brewing Company Burger and Beer Deal after their hike.
