Gearhub Sports celebrates 5 years

Gearhub Sports is celebrating its fifth year anniversary this weekend. Their annual anniversary celebration will be taken to a higher level this labour day weekend with a huge local customer appreciation event. It’s not your typical sale says owner and manager Mark Hall. “It is truly our opportunity to give back to our loyal families and local shoppers, who support us year round, and our deals are real deals. We typically have people asking us a month or so in advance, you know, so they don’t miss it”. He also added that many people plan and drive in for the event from out of town.

Gearhub has changed the sporting goods business in Fernie with superior store hours, full service on a broader range of goods, and a consignment offering that quickly propelled them to the status of “Fernie Favourite Sports store”. This status has been supported with several Fernie Business Excellence awards and nominations.
