Just checking the Griz cam, there’s almost 25cm new over the day. With that I think we can sagely say that Santa is no longer saying Ho Ho Ho and enthusiastically switched over to Pow Pow Pow.
Usually the first couple days of the season serve as the New Year for me, but this year was different. The New Year was on Christmas. Fresh snow. Old friends. Beer in the Griz Bar and the long table. It was all good. All old and all new at the same time.
And now it’s still snowing. And snowing and snowing.
This is the sort of Christmas and New Year we dream of in the middle of July.
And then those dreams come true.
Let ‘er rip. It’s a New Year.
