The World Ski Awards will be taking place November 21 – 23rd in Kitzbuhel, Austria. The awards are the only global initiative dedicated to recognizing, awarding and celebrating excellence in world-wide ski tourism. Categories for the awards include Best Ski Resort, Best Ski Hotel, Best Ski Tour Operator and Best Ski Travel Agent. Along with international categories, the awards also include nominations for national categories.
Fernie Alpine Resort has been nominated for Canada’s Best Ski Resort along with nine other resorts. Voting is now open and will continue until September 26th. To cast your vote, click here
The ceremony will be taking place at the scenic A-rosa Resort. It is a three day program with the highlight event being the red carpet World Ski Awards Gala Ceremony taking place on November 22nd. Other features include networking events, dinners and exclusive ski experience activities.
