The snow’s soft.
The sun’s out.
And the days are longer than six hours.
Amazing!
We hit the hill late, maybe 10 or 10:30 and ski aspect. West facing early then move to the north facing slopes. Lizard early. Then about noon move to 1-2-3’s and Easter. Cedar the same time, picking the lie. At the bottom, sliding into the Haul Back, it’s slushy and catchy.
There’s beer and poutine waiting on the deck of the Rusty Edge.
Doesn’t get any better.
