Following a series of special budget meetings, the City of Fernie seeks community feedback on the proposed 2025 Budget. The public consultation process is open until February 23, giving community members multiple ways to learn about the proposed financial plan and share their thoughts.
Residents can explore the details of the 2025 Budget through several resources:
• Budget ‘At a Glance’ Document: A quick and easy guide that provides an overview of key projects, municipal spending, and how the budget impacts the community. Read it here.
• Budget Meetings & Reports: Residents can watch or listen to past budget meetings and review reports, all available online. Access them here.
• Budget Open House: City staff and Council will be available at the Fernie Senior’s Centre on February 19 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM to discuss upcoming projects and initiatives.
Residents can submit their feedback by completing a short online survey, open until February 23. Take the survey here.
All feedback collected will be presented to Council at the next Budget Meeting on February 25 at 6:30 PM.
