To help keep British Columbia’s communities safe and protect the health-care system from COVID-19, the Province is introducing travel restrictions that limit non-essential travel in B.C.
Premier John Horgan announced extended and new travel restrictions today to help stop the spread of Covid-19 variants and ensure a safe and open summer.
Recently installed signs communicated Provincial Recreation Order restricting Crown land camping and off-road vehicle use in the Koocanusa Recreation Management Area
On Saturday at 2PM in Lot 2, the nose-in parking on the left as you drive toward the Wolf’s Den, held thirty-two cars. Twenty-one of them had Alberta plates.
In an effort to support “staying local and avoiding unnecessary travel,” BC Parks is also implementing measures that will give B.C. residents “preferential treatment” when it comes to campsite booking this summer.
The B.C. government has closed all parks and is restricting camping and motorized recreation throughout the entire Koocanusa Recreation Strategy area this spring and summer.
