More Crown land camping areas open to public as of May long weekend

To help keep British Columbia’s communities safe and protect the health-care system from COVID-19, the Province is introducing travel restrictions that limit non-essential travel in B.C.

Premier John Horgan announced extended and new travel restrictions today to help stop the spread of Covid-19 variants and ensure a safe and open summer.

The Fernie RV Resort is pleased to announce that 30 new full-service RV sites will be open on July 1st in time for summer camping season.

Recently installed signs communicated Provincial Recreation Order restricting Crown land camping and off-road vehicle use in the Koocanusa Recreation Management Area

On Saturday at 2PM in Lot 2, the nose-in parking on the left as you drive toward the Wolf’s Den, held thirty-two cars. Twenty-one of them had Alberta plates.
