Fernie BC Trails Day work parties will give local trail users a chance to roll up their sleeves and help care for the trails.

Two local work parties are planned:

Coal Creek Heritage Society Work Party
Time: 9 a.m. to noon
Meet: Bottom of Ridgemont Road, just off Coal Creek Road
Volunteers will carpool to the work site and help give Upper Kids Stuff some needed maintenance. Tools will be provided. Snacks and refreshments will follow.

Fernie Trails Alliance Coal Creek Heritage Trail Tune-Up
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Meet: Bottom of Ridgemont Road, just off Coal Creek Road
Volunteers will help tune up the Coal Creek Heritage Trail. The work party will be followed by a barbecue and drinks.

Everyone is welcome. Bring gloves, water, sturdy footwear, and clothes suitable for trail work.

BC Trails Day is a great chance to show Fernie’s trails some love and support the volunteers and organizations that keep the local trail network moving.
