DESCRIPTION:Fernie BC Trails Day work parties will give local trail users a
  chance to roll up their sleeves and help care for the trails.\n\nTwo loca
 l work parties are planned:\n\nCoal Creek Heritage Society Work Party\nTim
 e: 9 a.m. to noon\nMeet: Bottom of Ridgemont Road\, just off Coal Creek Ro
 ad\nVolunteers will carpool to the work site and help give Upper Kids Stuf
 f some needed maintenance. Tools will be provided. Snacks and refreshments
  will follow.\n\nFernie Trails Alliance Coal Creek Heritage Trail Tune-Up\
 nTime: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.\nMeet: Bottom of Ridgemont Road\, just off Coal C
 reek Road\nVolunteers will help tune up the Coal Creek Heritage Trail. The
  work party will be followed by a barbecue and drinks.\n\nEveryone is welc
 ome. Bring gloves\, water\, sturdy footwear\, and clothes suitable for tra
 il work.\n\nBC Trails Day is a great chance to show Fernie’s trails some
  love and support the volunteers and organizations that keep the local tra
 il network moving.
