I totally agree with the unhappy posts; the meats are bought as "seconds" for their cheaper buying power if most don’t know this. OW brings in their own first-rate suppliers of meats and has an onsite butcher at all times. As far as the produce goes: have you ever been in OW to find nobody in the department? NEVER. There is definitely no question about Extra Food’s customer service and it certainly does come from the management, which they (Extra Foods/Loblaws) also get paid peanuts, thus the lower prices. For the few savings on some items it certainly does not out-weigh the service you ALWAYS receive at the OW store, right down to packing your own groceries!! Approach the management at both stores and you will find the difference right there also!

Hello, I have a furnished 3 bedroom mobile with office, two decks with fully fenced yard, and very private location that could be available in August 2006. How long will you be staying for and how many people will be staying with you? My place is located 3 minutes out of Fernie (Dicken Road) in the White Spruce Park; it is located next to the mountain, which is very private. Let me know if interest, I can send pics too.

sorry, there was a password issue for a while, the printer/fax/scanner would be about 6 years old, if you would like to give it a go, you can have it, i’ll even drop it off for you, i live in a very small place and have no room for it, the next drop off would be the sally-anne. let me know if you want it, i’ve got the manual, etc. for you as well. oh, yes, it’s in excellent condition, you have to get a cartridge for it, and i haven’t checked lately on the cost but i know office supply places carry it.

fernie will not be the same without gumboot gal, i can say this for sure; we’ve had great times with the whole town and memories are treasured for sure. unfortunately work does seem very seasonal here and this will be my fate as well, but i still don’t want you to go….but can guarantee that i will not be very long behind coming with you! what a blast we’ve had, kamloops LOOK OUT!!!!
