The Livery Restaurant has just celebrated its one-year anniversary this past Tuesday as one of Fernie’s most prized dining locations. The Livery is a unique restaurant serving contemporary food in a relaxed environment. The building itself is historic to residents; it was built in 1908 with the stone from the Elk River. The beautiful stone walls and fine woodwork really add to the restaurant’s charm.

The menu is carefully put together and really shows head chef Barrie Elliot’s passion for innovative and interesting flavours. New exotic items are consistently added to the menu, providing items for every palate. Seasonal produce from the area is often a key component to the dishes. The extensive wine list is one of the most distinguished in Fernie, offering a selection of both popular and boutique wines.
