Open day offered good skiing and boarding with coverage to the base, seasonal temperatures, and a bonus—close to 10cm of snowfall throughout the day!

Early season conditions have naturual hazards and my ski legs were weak so I skied conservatively. That entailed skiing for a couple of hours rather than all day, taking it slow and keeping my eyes open for hazards. Following an ambulance to the the ski hill helped remind and reinforce the conservative approach!

The ski-hill is good to go, get up there and enjoy opening weekend!
