Historic Downtown Revite set to begin in April

After years of debate and politics the Historic Downtown will finally be getting a face lift. This April construction begins on widening the sidewalks and installing Victorian style street fixtures. 6th street, between 2nd and 1st Avenue, is being converted to a pedestrian plaza named Centenial plaze to coencide with Fernie’s 100 birthday. Overall the Downtown will be a more enjoyable space for everybody.
