Says Matt Mosteller, Senior Director of Business Development for Fernie Alpine Resort, “We are thrilled to be part of this list, as Outside Magazine is one of the most recognized outdoor magazines in the world. Not only that, but we are one of only two Canadian resorts on the list. It’s a great way to kick off another season of powder, festivals, fun and events at Fernie Alpine Resort.”

Fernie Alpine Resort has made a number of capital improvements over the summer as it heads into the 2008-2009 winter season, and received an epic 37 feet (1,118cm) of snow during the 2007/08 ski season. The scheduled opening day is Saturday, December 6, 2008.
