REGULAR MEETING OF JANUARY 9, 2016 HIGHLIGHTS

1. AGREEMENTS, LICENCES PERMITS & POLICIES
1.1 Development Variance Permit Application No. DVPA-397 for 4 Cedar Bowl Drive Council authorized the issuance of the permit to vary the minimum side yard setback for an existing accessory building only along a portion of the east property line.
1.2 Development Variance Permit Application No. DVPA -396 for 861 – 9th Avenue Council authorized the issuance of the permit to vary the minimum rear yard setback for an existing accessory building only, proposed to be converted into a secondary detached dwelling unit, along a portion of the west property line.

2. BYLAWS
2.1 Bylaw No. 2303, cited as Zoning Bylaw No. 1750, Amendment Bylaw No. 184, 2016 was read a third time and referred to the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure for approval. The application submitted is to amend the Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 to permit a distillery at the location of The Royal Canadian Legion on 1st Avenue.
