Fernie Alpine Resort opens for summer this Saturday, June 24th. The Elk Chair will be running daily for hiking, sightseeing and mountain biking. 

They have announced that the Timber Chair will be open for “Music on the Mountain” events – enjoy sightseeing, hiking and live music at Lost Boys Café.  The Timber Chair will be open on July 1st, August 5th & 6th and September 2nd from 10:30am to 4:00pm.
 
In addition to our new Music on the Mountain events, they’ll also be hosting guided hikes, the Canadian National Downhill Championships and of course, our Wednesday and Thursday Downhill Mountain Biking Race Series. 



Get those kids out of the house this summer, FAR runs a variety of outdoor summer camps for kids and youth from ages 3 to 16.

Why take the chairlift if you’ve got an e-mountain bike? The resort now allows uphill bike traffic (e-mountain bikes or regular mountain bikes) on a specified uphill route at the FAR Bike Park. E-Bike/Enduro ticket required for trail use.
