Giv’Er Shirt Works is proud to have launched their Elk Valley Strong fundraiser project! The objective of the project is to raise as much money as possible for Elk Valley small independent businesses that may be struggling financially as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.
Giv’Er commented, “Our very first Elk Valley Strong purchase was to these lovely ladies who got to pick an independent business within the Elk Valley to donate $10 from their t-shirts to!” Mayor Ange Qualizza and daughter were the first purchase, pictured above.
Here are some of the details of the project:
Giv’Er Shirt Works collaborated on a design with Lilac Media. The design showcases many of the activities and images that makes where we live awesome. It’s a great shirt to own! Giv’Er will be selling the shirts in their retail store, and on their online store. $10 from the sale of each shirt will go to a small business of the purchasers choice, to help out during tough times. Giv’Er be offering both adult and youth t-shirts as well as adult hoodies.
Giv’Er will be issuing cheques to businesses every second week. Purchase a shirt to help keep Fernie’s downtowns thriving, and promote local tourism this summer!
