Elk Valley Resources (EVR) careers are the focus of upcoming local information sessions in Sparwood, giving residents a direct look at job opportunities across the company’s operations.

EVR will host Careers Information Sessions on Thursday, May 7 at the Causeway Bay Hotel in Sparwood, with three time slots available at 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. The format is designed to give flexibility for workers, job seekers, and anyone exploring a future in the Elk Valley’s largest industry.

EVR’s recruitment team will be on site to outline current and future hiring needs across a wide range of roles. These include haul truck operators and entry-level labour positions, as well as skilled trades, engineering, technical services, environmental roles, safety, administration, and human resources.

The sessions are positioned as informal and accessible, with attendees able to ask questions directly and better understand what different career pathways look like within the organization.
