Saturday’s Game
This will be game two of a home and home with the Golden Rockets. Fernie plays in Golden Friday night so the Rockets get the advantage of not traveling late at night. The Rockets only played one game last weekend and that was a 6-1 win against the last place Rockies. For the record the Rockeis have only won one game, that was against Grand Forks. Spencer Pommells is the top Rocket scorer with 8 goals and 10 assists in 11 games. He is in fifth place in league scoring with 18 points right behind Rider Jesse Niemi with 19 points. The Rockets have played a few of the best squads in the league and have won games against the strong Kamloops Storm and Sicamous Eagles. Spencer Wong has a 7-1 record in net for the Rockets and Rocky Zinger is behind the bench, this will be his in his third season in Golden.
