The Wednesday Socials Outdoor Concert Series is regularly voted one of Fernie’s favourite events, the Wednesday Socials are outdoor fun for the whole family.

Enjoy a sizzling summer of live music, food trucks and good times in downtown Fernie with seven weeks of free concerts popping up each week on Wednesday’s in Station Square.

Tailgator is a brand new folk duo formed by Linden Gigliotti and Logan Plessis, both born and raised in the east Kootenays.Bringing in timeless flavours of bluegrass, folk and alternative country with a modern twist.Songs that will make you move, think and feel all at the same time.

TIRED COSSACK will go on at 7pm.
Their music is best defined as indie rock, but contains elements of post-punk, shoegaze, alt-country, folk, and grunge. Rooting this kaleidoscope of genres is a deep connection to Ukrainian folklore, superstition, and storytelling. Tired Cossack’s songs flow like a meandering path devoid of care bouncing between humour and despair, love and longing, storytelling and self-reflection, showing an ability to capture a wide range of emotions and experiences.
