The Wednesday Socials Outdoor Concert Series is regularly voted one of Fernie’s favourite events, the Wednesday Socials are outdoor fun for the whole family.

Enjoy a sizzling summer of live music, food trucks and good times in downtown Fernie with seven weeks of free concerts popping up each week on Wednesday’s in Station Square.

Pretty for the People will go on at 6pm They are a Kootenay-based rock n’ roll act playing loud live music & reminiscing of the 80’s. They play a combination of local favourite cover songs & original jam sessions.

Support Act: Contagious Karl will close the evening at 8pm. They are an independent Hiphop artist from Sweden, who makes energetic happy rap music with contagiously melodic choruses. Last summer the artist released his first EP “A rappers guide to the galaxy” packed with humorous references to Douglas Adam’s book series mixed with his own life experiences.
