The International Snow Science Workshop is the world’s largest conference on snow and avalanches and was planned to be in Fernie this Autumn. Due to the many uncertainties presented by the Covid-19 pandemic the ISSW 2020 organization made the difficult decision to postpone the conference by one year, ISSW 2020 is now scheduled for October 3 – 8, 2021, in Fernie.
To keep the “Merging of Theory and Practice” happening the Virtual Snow Science Workshop 2020 will be live-streamed with international-calibre speaker sessions, panel discussions, and posters.
