Roller derby is a powerful sport. It empowers the skater in body, mind, spirit and connection. Good times and laughter guaranteed. Roller derby provides a comprehensive body workout and can help improve your strength, balance, core stability, and cardiovascular endurance. It is a great way to get out, be part of the skate community, and realize your sense of strength.

Roller skates and pads are included in this positive learning environment for just $85. Female identifying persons welcome. Ages 18 and up. You are not too old or too unathletic – you CAN learn to play Roller Derby.

How is this different from Rookie Rollers?
– Learn the basic rules of roller derby
– Learn to skate in closer proximity to other skaters
– Learn basic derby-focused skills and drills
– Learn about the track, how to skate on it, and the rules surrounding it
– There will be derby demonstrations and even the opportunity to watch some or all of a game while our members break down, discuss elements, and answer questions.
