The Fording River Extension Public Open Houses are part of the public comment period the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) and B.C.’s Environmental Assessment Office (EAO) are jointly holding on the Project.

The comment period is focused on the draft assessment documents, which include the process order, application information requirements and joint assessment and engagement plan.

These documents describe how the assessment must be carried out, including: scope and timelines, the information and studies required from the proponent, and how participants will work together.

Comments received will support the preparation of the final versions of these documents.
