Fernie’s very own charismatic hostess and chef, Pina Mancuso, will welcome her sous chefs into to the kitchen with some bubbly and a lovely mushroom crostini topped with a dollop of ricotta.

There will be 3 very different decadent sauces to prepare and serve along with an Italian antipasto.
What will be included on your take away recipe card?
i) “Salsa Verde con Limone”: a sauce of arugula and parsley pesto served with penne and spicy shrimp. AND…this sauce can be combined with any type of seafood, fish, or vegetables!
ii) “Bella Notte” a sweet sauce of fresh cherry tomatoes, capers, baby spinach, and heart warming Camembert served with Cafarecce, a short pasta, topped with a little crispy proscuitto
iii) “Carbonara della Sila”: a sauce made of eggs, parmigiano and pecorino cheese, cured pancetta, and seasoned with black pepper – served with linguini.
After the cooking lesson, in la cucina, you will sit down to enjoy a nice little bowl of each pasta dish! Buon apetito!
This event is BYO vino so please bring a little vino to accompany the dishes listed above. They will pair the wine according to the pasta dishes to learn a little about flavour matching. There are no specifications on the amount of vino or the price point. It could be white or red but, per piacere, let it be Italian!
