FAR Oktoberfest 2026 returns to the Griz Bar at Fernie Alpine Resort on Saturday, October 10 for an evening of bratwurst, beer, Bavarian music and Oktoberfest fun.

Break out your dirndl and lederhosen for Fernie Alpine Resort’s 7th annual Oktoberfest Bratwurst and Biergarten celebration.

The legendary Griz Bar will be transformed into a lively Bavarian beer hall with Oktoberfest-inspired food including bratwurst, pretzels and more, along with a selection of craft beer from Banded Peak Brewing.

The European Touch Band will bring live Bavarian polka music to the Griz Bar from 5–9 pm, with plenty of opportunity to hit the dance floor.

There will also be some friendly Oktoberfest competition. Test your endurance in the stein-holding contest or show off your best Bavarian vocals in the yodel competition.

Admission is free and all ages are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult 19+.
