Join East Kootenay Invasive Species Council, The City of Fernie, Westfork Resource Management, and the Elk River Alliance in a community stewardship project!

Join in on the fun. They will be hand pulling invasive plant species and reseeding the banks of the Elk river with native grass. They could use a few worker-bees to help with this! It could make for a great team building experience for you and your friends or coworkers.

They will have free snacks and refreshments for participants as well as some lovely volunteer appreciation gifts!
