Hi Cameron. We’re willing to consider this if we don’t find someone before Jan 1. Would rather not leave it empty in December. As well, 4 months isn’t ideal. I understand you may be extended but at this point it sounds like a possibility only.

If you’re willing to take it in Dec and provide an assurance of more than 4 months that would help.

We have a 2 bedroom house coming up for rent on December 1st (possibly a week earlier). It’s located on the 900 block of 4th Ave. It’s a small character home with recent upgrades. Our current tenants have been there for nearly two years but have recently purchased their own place.

– gas fireplace in the living room
– laundry
– plenty of storage in the basement
– covered front porch with plenty of room for a bbq

We’re looking for a long-term, responsible tenant. Couple is preferred.

Hi there. Have you found a place yet? I have a small nicely renovated, 2-bedroom possibly coming available in October. The house is on 4th ave very close to downtown. I say possibly available because the current tenant has not given official notice but is close to buying a house and has indicated October as a likely move out date. I live in Victoria but will be in Fernie from Aug 20 through 25. If you’re interested meeting and seeing the house then please let me know.
