garbyParticipantI would sugest Bud Wellman in Sparwood. Works out of his garage. Reasonably priced and is really good at the older stuff. You can find his number in the phone book.
garbyParticipantabout a month ago my cars were rumaged through and the wifes mp3 player and fm transmitter were stolen. doubt it’s the same one, but both the units were white and the mp3 player was a 512 with additional sd card.
Who knows I might get lucky.
garbyParticipantI have a parts car, 89 toyota tercel, if anyone is conscidering this one. $100 takes it all.
garbyParticipantcheck out the post on shuttles.
garbyParticipantI have lived in the Elkvalley for most of my life, and this is the first time I can remember as many employment opportunities available in the valley. There are help wanted signs everywhere. The mines are active and healthy. There’s new construction where there hadn’t been in three decades or more.
Fernie may not be the small hick town it once was, where everyone knew everyone and what they had for supper, but I don’t see that as a loss. I see alot of new faces, new business, and a growing community.
I’m not saying there isn’t any problems, (houseing costs comes to mind), but all in all I think Fernie is heading in the right direction. Thank you Canadian Tire, Stanford, 901 Fernie, Pinnacle Ridge, and everyone else that has chosen to invest in our community.
November 2, 2006 at 3:22 am in reply to: Calgary to Fernie -I need a ride!or some info on shuttle’s! #14797garbyParticipantI know of three options here. Taxi costing $465.00 for up to six people, Mountain Perks shuttle from Calgary Airport to Fernie at $59.00 per person last I used, and Rocky Mountain Shuttles where I don’t know the price. All three have websites that can be found with a google search.
Note on the Shuttles, be on time for the departure because they won’t make the other passengers wait for you.
garbyParticipantI have a 1991 Hyundai excel for sale. It has four new winter tires, new front springs and struts yet to be installed, new brake pads yet to be installed, recent tune up, new timing belt and water pump (installed).
The car is a white, 4 dr, automatic, hatchback. It has a little service rust but still looks presentable. It gets 40mpg hwy. The only reason were selling is the insurance expired Oct 26th, and we have three other vehicles. Time to down size.
I am asking $800.00 but will take any serious offer just to get it off the front lawn. Ph: 423-5048 or txt: 250-433-1247
Ps: Did I mention four new speakers installed for the panasonic cd player I put in for the wife, (with remote).
