Hey there. So sorry to hear about this. We have a nice, furnished, 2-bedroom basement suite that’s sitting empty right now, though there will be tenants moving in in November. If it’s any help, he could have it for $400/month until then (that would include utilities). He may not want to move twice so maybe it’s not an ideal solution, but if he needs a place while he looks, it would be available…

Hi, Bruce. We have a two-bedroom house in a great central location, furnished and in excellent condition. It’s spacious with hard-wood floors, large windows, new, spacious bathroom, and a bright kitchen with washer/dryer and dishwasher. We would be asking for $1400/month, including utilities. We’re asking about $900/month (including utilities), negotiable for more or less depending on how many people are in there and how long they’re willing to stay. We’d prefer longer-term tenants if possible and are willing to ask less for a longer lease.
