The Community Eco-Garden and the Elk Valley Bear Aware programs along with Canada World Youth volunteers and other local community groups have teamed up to provide apple and fruit picking services in the Elk Valley. The suggested charge is $15 for the first apple tree and $10 for every additional tree in your yard. These local non-profit organizations rely on your donations. Call us at 423-3772 for more information and to book a time.
Call us before the bears call on you!

This is a great idea! Possibly give senior citizens a price discount. And with the unwanted apples you could make jams or other products for resale.
Good Luck and support your local Bear Awareness Program.
