One of Fernie’s best kept secrets, the second floor patio at the rear of The Central Hotel, has finally been opened to the public. The Sundeck, aptly named after the area of a ship or yacht where one might sit around a pool or lay on a lounger soaking up rays, is definitely Fernie’s hottest patio. Sunscreen is definitely required, as is sipping on one of the daily cocktail creations. The menu features BBQ’d calamari, prawn skewers, home made beef burgers and a BBQ’d veggie platter and will add a steak and chicken burger to the line up soon. Live music can be heard on weekends, with an acoustic jam this Sunday July 19th.
