  Come join us for the start of the 2006/2007 winter season by partaking in the traditional ?Ç‚Äúofferings?Ç‚Äù to the snow gods.
  
  On Saturday, December 9th from Noon ?Ç‚Äì 3:00 pm an all ages ?Ç‚Äúmogul smoker garden?Ç‚Äù (licenced) in the resort plaza area will be set up : activities will include a beer garden, firepit, and DJ.
  
  Stoke the fire with our skis and get stoked for the winter!!
  
  Volunteers from FAST & Wildsight will be on-site to sell tickets:
  
  $5.00 for ski & hot chocolate
  
  $10.00 for ski & mogul smoker cocktail
  
  All Proceeds go to FAST & Wildsight
  
  Make sure you come out, bring your friends, family and coworkers to attend this traditional kick off to the season! See you there!!!

  I love it how RCR always takes something that the locals started and rolls it into a money maker/tourist attraction. Where do they get the right to use the name Mogul Smoker….pretty sure somebody owns the rights to the name…
  
  The original Mogul Smoker was always spontaneous….head to the bush, have a party and burn some gear and ask Ullr for snow….end of story no corporation.

  what happened to the mogul smoker? i have lived here for 5 years now and even before that i can remember the mogul smoker being a traditional locals party. who thought they could take that away from the people who have been doing this for years? shame on whoever is responsible for that. what would you like to take away next….

  shame on those who hold Locals Only Parties.
  
  One thing sadder than someone tring to break even for such an event is The lack of co-operation exibited by so many on this site in regards to the gathering.
  
  I think I said last year after all the moaning and whining. Nows a chance to collaberate. Good to see The same crap now..
  
  I miss the good old Toy runs and The motor inn to an extent, but I don’t stew about it. (Backroom cafe was cool too)
  
  Now and here – A place for productive co-operatve guestures. Here’s a start :
  
  What’s the technical Mogul Smoker Mixed drink? Lets start there shall we.
