Rock / Ice Climbing???

Hi, my boyfriend and I are new to Fernie. We are both avid rock climbers, and are looking to try ice climbing this year. Is there any ice climbing in this area? Or across the border?? Even when it comes to the summer, I’ve heard there isn’t much for rock climbing around here. We’d love to hear any feedback at all on this topic. Thanks a lot.
