Real estate agents: least trusted professionals, along with politicians

Whoever you are "Liberal", I appreciate the sentiment you are trying to forward. In my opinion, the crooked lies propagated by both our current politicians and their real estate co-horts are nothing but a house of cards.
Once people get the real information they will be the winds of change.

We have a faction of JDubs trying to control this town right now. These people are also some of the most prominent realtors. What they do- aside from ruining small businesses in a systematic betrayal of trusts- is gain control of the Counsel and from there, work their cynical attitudes into the overall "feel" of towns like this.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
When most of the population is a yearly influx of new people who come here to have a good time and leave, you can imagine that organized control isn’t that difficult. Most of the crimes being committed are against people who are honest and trusting- making them easy prey for predators. These are business predators. Their business is thieving and controlling.

There is no membrane to block the sociopathic interests at work here. The City, Mayor, Counsel are all forced into compliance or they can be dismissed by the majority on counsel- Realtors. They have re-zoned areas so they can reap the rewards by being the vehicle through which such lands are sold. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$Other than creating a "Whistler Effect", games like this are illegal and detrimental to the overall health of a town mostly supported by Coal Miners.

Look around at the Real Estate prices these days in Fernie. Regardless of the massive changes our world is gong through in terms of economic instability, the realtors in Fernie are actually convincing people too RAISE the prices of the shacks here.

Let me give some advice to the POLITICIANS & REALTORS in FERNIE. NOTHING has been selling for the past year. Forget your dreams of milking the economy here. Things have changed.
P.S.: When your lies are uncovered as the backroom deals they are, you will be held accountable. -

As for the concern about "JDubs" and the network consisting of many, I can’t help but feel we could all learn a thing or two from them. I know some of them personally and can say they are motivated, ambitious people who want what is best for themselves, their families and their friends. I fail to see the problem with that. I do the same thing except I do it because I’m selfish and they do it for what they believe will make this world a better place. If it really bothers you, skip the complaining and get yourself in the game.

Whats best for them at the expense of anyone in their way??
I prefer to do things on a moral basis. I will never be weak enough to submit to control and abuse because it’s easier to make money.
BTW I am the "Game"…
Think for yourself Fernie, these people will attack me once again, because like I said- THEIR LIES ARE A HOUSE OF CARDS.

I’m not really sure if you’re being serious or not. I’m guessing not. Either way, please go on. I sense an interesting story behind all of this.

Oh I’m serious Gavin. This election will last 22 seconds. Say good bye to your realtors friends on counsel. And that sneaky smiley too.

how come lawyers didn’t play into this survey?! Council needs a well-rounded representation from the community, as do any civic policy groups. Many are not keen with how many real estate agents are on council, as they should be. What happened to representation!?

Perhaps lawyers are not considered professionals in England.
Citizens in Fernie and the Kootenay’s have voted against real estate agents being politicians.
I believe these agents were symbolic as the evil of change. The change that has displaced community and threatened lifestyle as previously enjoyed.
In reality the factors are much larger than a few agents however the voters have communicated a strong message.
