New Book Club – Poppy Loves Book Club Fernie

For all those book lovers and those who may be new to town who want to meet new people…We are bringing Poppy Loves Book Club to Fernie this October!

Poppy Loves Book Club isn’t your standard book club. It sees women all over the world reading the same book at the same time and then coming online together, with the author, to discuss it. There are over 68 book clubs and 2500 members from all corners of the world, including New Zealand, South Africa, Indonesia, Iraq, Australia, Germany, USA, Italy, Malta…the list goes on. The Fernie group will be the first Poppy Loves Book Club group in Canada!

We read one book a month and then meet up to join the online book discussion with the rest of the clubs at the end of each month. The author is always in attendance (either in person at the London club or online). You can choose to either meet us locally in person each month, join the online discussion from the comfort of your own home or just simply read the book and leave it at that!

Once we have gathered interest we will advise the venue and meeting times each month from October (a venue with wine and/or coffee will be mandatory – all suggestions welcome).
