My friend Teelo and I have secured jobs for the winter season and need to find somewhere to live, but we want to find a few other people to search for a house with as we’d like to live in a big house! We’re in Vancouver at the moment as we have jobs here but we’ll be moving up shortly.
We are looking for;
Downtown location, around $500pcm or less ideally and somewhere with nice communal areas that has the overall chalet feel (cos it’s a ski town and that’s be cool), we also need the place to be furnished and warm! brrr. We are up for a 4-8 bed house with 6-12 housemates if people wanna share to keep costs down………..
We are, 22 and 25, Kiwi and Brit, nice people who like cooking yummy food, drinking beer, hanging out, having fun and sleeping tends to also be necessary at times. We are both super easy going and looking for some nice housemates to share the season with.
We anticipate arriving around 21st Nov’ to start work on the mountain so would look to move in around then or later (we could spend some time in the Hostel initially) and we’ll be there for the season.
There seem to be heaps of cool places to rent online but we need to find people first and then we’re happy to get house searching!
