Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

How does an englishman go about getting married in a canadian ski resort to an english lady during the comming ski season?

Is there a local Fernie official that I could contact?

In England we have officials called Registrars of Births, Deaths and Marriages – is there a similar person in Fernie?

      Cheers!

I would advise you call the Cranbrook Courthouse at 1(250)426-1234. You will have to apply for a marriage license and arrange for someone to marry you.

Or if you want to marry inside the city limits which excludes Fernie Alpine Resort you can arrange for the mayor of Fernie to marry you. Call 1 (250) 423-6817 for Fernie City Hall.

      Hope this gets you started!

City of Fernie Web Site is http://www.city.fernie.bc.ca/
Click on “Its the People”. The site is really bad and you probably will not get the info you are looking for.

As for the animated picture Log-in to your “Profile” and at the bottom of the profile page is a header called Avatar. Its there you can upload a small, animation, picture, photo, anything that is the correct size.
