Cheaper ways to get to hill than local shuttle??

There has to be a cheaper way for reliable transpo to the hill in Fernie than taking the Kootenay Taxi. I think it’s kind of a rip off @ 320cdn. It’s quite a scam they’ve got going there.
If there is some info I should be privy too. Please kick it down..

320 dollars? Is that a season’s pass for the bus or something similar?
Anyway, you could always hitch. I heard there’s a bridge where everyone thumbs rides, and it’s never more than a five minute wait.
I’ve never lived in Fernie, and I don’t right now, so I’m not an authority though…I am looking at Fernie for next year, so your question concerns me too. I hope there is a really cheap, reliable way to get to the hill.

The city of fernie is now offering a shuttle service to and from the ski hill that is free. If thats to expensive then your on you own.
