Canadian Tire thieft this weekend

The incident occurred around 3:30-3:45pm Saturday October 18, 2014. The suspect drilled and unscrewed the locks on the gun cabinets and snipped the wire inside the gun case within minutes, taking three guns one which was later found stuffed under the garden centre fence by an employee who was working outside at the time. The guns were concealed in camo rifle bags. The two guns he got away with were both Mossberg shotguns and one was a defender model type. He also took 8 boxes of ammunition. The police believe he may be from out of town and is highly skilled at these types of thefts.

All tips and information should be forwarded to the RCMP in Fernie.
