don’t think so, otherwise there would be protests on the streets and politicians hanging from the gallows.
Unlike many of the uncomfortable stories I rant about, this one 100% directly impacts YOU. I know some of you tell me you ‘don’t have time’ to read my links…well when it comes to your own back yard, not only do you have a responsibility to our children to act in their best interest, you have a responsibility to yourself and your community to get involved. Collectively, we have to stop thinking someone else is figuring this out for us – all of us have the same ability and time to research the facts and become well informed on these potentially devastating proposals.
After being subjected to an onslaught of ads and interviews on mainstream media convincing us how great Kinder Morgan’s new pipeline is for the people of BC, and what a conscientious guy Mr Kinder is, I took it upon myself to do my own research…
Richard Kinder was an executive at ENRON for 16 years. His successor, Jeff Skilling is serving a 24 year prison sentence. Richard Kinder made billions at ENRON, where he met his current business partner, William Morgan. While many articles make it sound like Mr Kinder had little to do with ENRON’s illegal activities, the facts tell us he was a part of the criminal executive branch at ENRON and was able to leave with some of their best assets at fire sale prices before the collapse.
If indeed carbon is destroying our planet and we are to pay ‘carbon’ taxes to fix everything, then logic would tell me we should be looking at alternatives to fossil based fuels. But instead, we are being convinced that this multibillion dollar pipeline from the tar sands is good for us, our economy and our pristine shores. Just like ‘Fracking’ is a good idea…what will it take for mainstream media to start reporting the truth? Do they need to be bombed and tortured, have all their resources owned and controlled by foreign entities, their environment destroyed and their population forced into starvation before they realize they are working for the wrong team? And at what point do ‘we the people’ become engaged?
All I ask of you, the reader of this email, is to spend an hour or two researching this on your own – do not count on mainstream media to do the research for you, they are bought and paid for by corporations and are told what to say. You however are not, and through social media you have a very loud voice.

Think about this; rather than subsidizing oil companies to the tune of Billions of Dollars (directly and indirectly) and at the expense of our environment and local communities, why don’t we invest in new technologies, new energy systems and forward thinking ideas that will genuinely make the world a better place for our children. Why don’t we invest in educating ourselves to be stewards of this planet, as opposed to dependents on its resources and slaves to those who control them. I know it won’t be easy, but neither is quitting crack, it’s just a good idea.
We can make Canada a world leader in doing the right thing if we choose to, it is up to us.
