Thank you all. This house has been rented out.
4 b/room older Fernie house on 5th avenue (1/2 lot)for rent.
Long-term or full seasonal rent only.
4 bedroom/1bathroom 2 storey older Fernie home.Furnished.
1 min from Bugs Bistro/Highway 3 (near Rotary Park)/Main street.
ie Great location for bars/restaurants in downtown and Highway 3 like the Curry Bowl.
General observation re Downtown property: Everyone in town can hear the coal train and its horn 24hrs a day(Fernie wouldn’t be the same without it). However as houses on 1st/5th avenue are the closest to the train track, they have proved relatively unattractive to some people esp light sleepers. 3rd ave and beyond it gradually gets better. 6th ave has been shunned by some as it looks onto Highway 3. Be aware of the cross streets as well. Once you get beyond 10th street, you are more out towards the school so further to walk to the downtown core.
