Description
All four apartments are located in the same 4 Plex and the units are identical
in size and layout. There are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs.
Bedroom 1 is the biggest and fits 2 double beds.
Bedroom 2 is medium size and fits 1 double bed with space leftover. (Suits Couple)
Bedroom 3 is the smallest and just fits a double bed.
The Upstairs level has a good size Kitchen, Lounge and Dining area which
is open plan. In addition each Apartment also has a balcony and a carspace.
Location, Location, Location…
The apartments are located within the town of Fernie. They are 100 meters
from the largest Shopping Centre in Town which also has a Mc Donald¬??s and
Tim Horton¬??s (Coffee & Donuts). Downtown Fernie which is the main street is
about an 8 minute walk.
Ski Hill
Getting to the ski hill after a big dump is Priority #1. Make sure you take this
into account when you choose a place to rent. If you don’t have a car or know
someone who does there are only 2 ways to get there. Ride the bus or hitch hike.
The bus stop to the hill is 100 meters away from the apartments and cost $3.
Hitch Hiking to the ski hill is safe and reliable in Fernie and is done by almost
everyone. There is a special hitching point which is about 600 metres from the apartments.
Once you reach the hitching point you normally only have to wait 5 minutes for a
lift to the Ski Hill.
Terms
The Apartments are all available from October 1st onwards.
There is a minimum of 5 months rental.
First and last months rent are required upfront.
A security deposit is also required.
People with references will get first preference.
There is a limit of 5 people to each apartment.
Utilities are not included.
Discounts
If you have the cash already to ride the whole season you can pay upfront and
get a 10% percent discount off the advertised rent prices above. This
will save you close to $1000 dollars or more in rent which you can use to buy
a seasons ticket, a new board or 5 months worth of groceries.
