It depends on if your looking for long-term or short-term rentals. If you go to far.redtree.com there are many postings of day by day rentals up on the mountain and in town (many of the on-mountain rentals can be quite expensive). If your looking more for a few week/month stay sorta deal you may wanna check out the Raging Elk Hostel or the Samesun Lodge. They both have dorm or private/semi-private rooms, and have decent rates for the thrifty backpacker if your looking to pay on a week to week basis. Also you can just keep checkin the postings here for ppl who need extra mates in a house if you choose to stay for a while. I’m pretty new to Fernie myself, so I hope this can help you out.
