The Ghostriders won game six in Invermere by a 5 to 1 score and took the series against the Columbia Valley Rockies 4 to 2 games.
Landon Hedges had the game winner and a natural hat-trick. Nick Kunyk was a wall in net and the four defensemen kept the Rockies at bay. The final score included two power play goals and an empty net goal. The Riders stuck to hockey and cruised to a nice road win despite cheap shots by Columbia Valley.
The Ghostriders advance to play the Beaver Valley Nite Hawks. Beaver Valley just defeated Grand Forks and will have home ice in the third round. See home games 3 and 4 scheduled for Fernie here.
