Fernie Singletrack 3 2027 returns June 25–27, bringing three days of mountain bike racing back to one of Canada’s premier singletrack destinations.

After an incredible inaugural event in 2026, Fernie Singletrack 3 is back with three stages built around what Fernie does best: outstanding mountain biking.

Registration opens Wednesday, August 26 at 9 a.m. Mountain Time, with launch pricing of $549 CDN available through November 30.

And riders may not want to wait.

Fernie Singletrack 3 sold out in 2026 in a matter of weeks, drawing 500 riders for its first year. For anyone who missed out, the August 26 launch provides the first opportunity to secure a place in the 2027 event.

After November 30, registration increases to $649 for Early Bird pricing and then $699 at the regular rate.

Fernie has a long history with mountain bike stage racing, including its prominent role in the legendary TransRockies Challenge, which helped introduce riders from around the world to the trails, mountains and riding culture of the Elk Valley.

That history is part of what makes Fernie such a natural home for Singletrack 3.

Today, Fernie’s trail network is bigger, more diverse and more developed than ever. Riders can spend days exploring an extensive network spread across the mountains surrounding town, with trails ranging from smooth and fast to steep, technical and distinctly old-school.

Long forested climbs lead to ridgelines and expansive mountain views. Fast, flowing descents mix with roots, rocks, technical sections and punchy climbs. Trails weave through towering forests, climb high above the Elk Valley and descend back toward town.

Fernie isn’t simply a place that hosts a mountain bike race. Mountain biking is part of the community’s identity, and decades of trail building and racing have helped establish Fernie as one of Canada’s great riding destinations.

Fernie Singletrack 3 builds on that heritage with a modern three-day stage race focused squarely on the trails.

Riders can choose between two distances:

Miner Distance
The longer course for riders looking to take on the full Fernie Singletrack 3 challenge.

Prospector Distance
A shorter course for riders who want the complete stage-race experience with a little less mileage.

Both distances are designed to showcase the variety that makes riding in Fernie special, rather than simply putting kilometres on the clock.

Three days. Three stages. Legendary Fernie singletrack — and another chapter in Fernie’s mountain bike racing history.

Fernie Singletrack 3 2027 takes place June 25–27, with registration opening August 26 at 9 a.m. Mountain Time.
