Fernie has a great snow pack and the ski hill is operating the lifts until April 15th! Get out for some awesome snow and great events. This weekend is the 80s Weekend Freeride at Fernie Alpine Resort. And on the closing weekend come see April Wine perform at Fernival at FAR on April 14th. The Concert is completely FREE for all ages! And on Sunday April 15th the new Slope Soaker event will see loads of wet and cold skiers and snowboarders!

We finally caught up to last years snow pack and observe how much snow fell last season (green line) after the ski hill closed early. We’ll be ready for any comparable snowfall this season (dark blue line) with the new Peak Chair and everything operating! The Peak Chair offers the ultimate spring skiing, bring your own wine skin!
