To the skiers and boarders of Fernie Alpine Resort, there is some good news!
Due to the insane amount of snow this season Fernie Alpine Resort has announced that they will be open straight through to April 15th! The previous plan was to close from Monday to Friday and reopen for the weekend.
This new week of running the lifts will celebrate the 10 meters of snowfall with an epic Fernival party!
For the 10th annual Fernival the headline band for the weekend will be Sloan Music, stopping by as part of their 20th Anniversary tour. See a FREE concert by Sloan on Saturday, April 14th in the plaza with special guest openers.
On Sunday, come back and enjoy the return of BC/DC to rock out and close down the season!
